Welcome to my new blog! This is very new for me and I can’t promise any “wildly” professional photos or amazing blow-your-mind content, but I can give you a glimpse into my life and share with you fun and super easy kid activities, home decor projects, family adventures, and much more!
So the title…if you don’t know me, you’re probably wondering why I’ve titled my blog Wilder Times. Well, on April 2nd 2014 my amazing son was born, Wilder Jackson Browning. I thought my life was wild before he came into my life! Boy, was I wrong! It’s never a dull moment with this little man and he brings so much joy into me and my husband’s life. So there you go! Wilder Times is dedicated to my son and a lot of what I will share with you will involve him since I’m now a stay-at-home mom.
By the way, I haven’t always been one! This whole crazy journey began in 2004 when I decided I was going to be an actress. I know, I know, crazy idea, right?! Well, my love for performing eventually took me away from Charleston, SC all the way across the country to good ol’ Los Angeles. I was very blessed to be able to work as an actress there as well as in New York City. If you’re a soap fan, you may have seen me on General Hospital or All My Children. 😉 In the midst of all of this, in 2009 I met my amazing husband on a church camping trip. No make-up, no cute clothes, nothing! We spent our evenings talking by the camp fire and that was all she wrote! By 2010 we were married and on our way to domestic life. I slowed down in my acting career and started working at our church as a Children’s Director, so my repertoire of crafts, songs, activities, and games is pretty extensive.
As time went on and we had our son, Wilder we knew we wanted to settle somewhere closer to our families. Clint, my husband, is from Missouri so neither one of us was particularly attached to the City of Angels. When Clint got an opportunity to work for some friends of ours in St. Louis, we jumped at the chance to move. To St Louis?!? No, that would be too easy! We decided to land in Nashville, TN. Well, Spring Hill to be exact. Clint has been commuting and working there and my life has transitioned into being a stay-at-home mom, which I’m very much enjoying!
We bought a house and have been doing a complete overhaul. I mean every surface has been painted and all the floors have been ripped up! We’ve been tracking our progress and I’m going to share with you a lot of the projects I have done in the house that I think you will love!
We absolutely love Tennessee and are so happy to be closer to family. We get to experience seasons now! Anyway, I’m so happy you’ve decided to check out my blog and see what’s happening in my neck of the woods. So stick around y’all!
Hugs and Blessings,
